Following the U. S. Supreme Court’s ruling last week that blocked OSHA’s rule requiring Covid vaccinations for 80 million American workers, two prominent corporations with locations and employees in South Dakota have ended their plans to require vaccinations.
Starbucks and General Electric both scrapped their jab-or-test requirements. Similar announcements could be forthcoming as a Willis Towers Watson poll in November revealed that 32% of companies only planned to enforce the mandates if required to do so by OSHA.
The news underscores a point we’ve made previously here at MandateFreeSD:
Businesses, particularly large corporations, rarely act completely independent of big government influence. The reversals by both Starbucks and GE after the SCOTUS decision are proof.
Which South Dakota businesses are still mandating vaccinations?
Do you know of a South Dakota employer who reversed their covid vaccine mandate policy following last week's ruling?
