ACTION ALERT! Our Military Members Suffer Unfair Discrimination
Wall Street Journal publishes article by South Dakotan
MandateFreeSD continues to monitor the situation in South Dakota and in our country. While many of us have been able to comfortably move away from the mandates with exemptions, our men and women serving our country have not and continue to be threatened with losing their livelihoods.
South Dakotan, Christopher Motz, brings attention to this critical issue in an opinion piece he wrote that was recently published by the Wall Street Journal.
Military regulations guarantee religious freedom, but the Pentagon is defying them. More than 24,000 members across the branches have submitted religious-accommodation requests following Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s August 2021 vaccination order. Almost all have been rejected. These troops now face punishment and discharge.

The policy shows no signs of slowing. Please take a moment to read Mr. Motz’s article in its entirety at the link above or here. Then, and most importantly, please ACT NOW. We are being called to help fight for what is right on behalf of our military members. It’s the least we can do for those who sacrifice for our freedom.
ACTION ALERT! Our public officials are not addressing this dire situation. They may not be aware of the issue. Please call or email Senator John Thune, Senator Mike Rounds and Representative Dusty Johnson. Tell them: Don't vote for a single dollar of defense money so long as the DoD's religious discrimination is ongoing. Not one cent. Some things are more important than money.
