Act Now To Protect Liberty in SD
HB 1258 and HB 1211, acts protecting personal conscience, will be heard in Senate Committee this week
ACTION ALERT!
This Wednesday, March 2nd, there will be a face-off of two bills; in the Senate Health and Human Service Committee, House Speaker Gosch’s HB 1258, the Personal Conscience Act, which truly would provide freedom for most SD citizens from Covid-19 vaccine mandates, and in the House State Affairs Committee SB 211, the Governor’s bill mired in bureaucracy, catering to the medical and business lobbies which would provide little protection for the people.
Another excellent bill that will likely be heard the same day in the Senate Health and Human Service Committee is HB 1211. This is an act that releases an employee from a non-compete clause if the employer mandates or requires the employee to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination in violation of their conscience.
The battle is fierce and the path forward to victory for HB 1258 and HB 1211 can only be achieved by massive support from the people of South Dakota.
There are four senators on the Senate Health and Human Services Committee that need to hear from you TODAY! Please email them again even if you contacted them already.
Email these senators and ask them to vote YES and pass HB 1258 and HB 1211 out of committee for the entire SD Senate to debate.
